This book contains eighty-four recipes inspired by Italy's Adriatic coast, which I researched and photographed in 2017 on a 3-month trip to Italy.
It is more than just a recipe book, but stories about the people, places and foods of Italy's relatively lesser known Adriatic Coast. The book is divided into 7 chapters that describe geographic features along this coastline that stretches from the tip of the heel of the boot of Italy in southern Puglia to the Gulf of Trieste near Slovenia. Dishes include eggplants stuffed with sardines from the Salentine peninsula; Osteria seafood stew from the Conero Riviera; ravioli stuffed with Taleggio, asparagus and walnuts from the Venetian Lagoon and apple strudel from the Gulf of Trieste.
The book is hard cover and has 305 pages.
